What would a personal website be without an “About Me” page? Well, this is me.
As of yet, there isn’t much to be said about me and I am surprised — almost flattered — that you seem to care to find out more.
Regarding myself, I am a German computer scientist, aspiring photographer, gamer and crypto enthusiast. Basically, my regular work revolves all around information technology. In my free time, I try to focus on photography — potentially making this a weekend job in the future — play computer games, and follow the latest developments and trends in the cryptocurrency field. It’s not very adventurous or noteworthy, but I like it this way.
Being in my early 20s, I still have some sense of vigor and idealism that I try to put to good use. Not being famous nor influential doesn’t stop me from trying to make a difference. I can’t make the world a better place all on my own, really, but knowing that I may be able to just help one other person a day can make a difference in the long run. We could do well with a big contribution from a single powerful individual but could do as well with many small contributions from hundreds of less powerful individuals. I try to be one of them; making the world a better place starts with small actions others can reciprocate.
My thoughts, ideas and opinions are not my actions. My actions can be seen and have an effect. My thoughts, ideas and opinions, however, do not — if they are not voiced. This blog — my blog — is meant as a place for these thoughts to be voiced. Maybe this will make them have an effect.
I write on Medium as well.
